A sewer camera inspections are a fantastic value when you consider the average minimum cost to dig up and replace a drain line is around $3,000. With this inspection we run a state of the art full color drain camera through your drain lines either from a clean-out or the main vent stack on the roof. This inspection can find such things as collapsed pipes, tree root intrusion, and bellies in the drain line. Once found, we can isolate the specific area and mark, allowing a licensed plumber to dig and repair any issue uncovered. This also can help determine what the sewer line is made of. With so many homes built during the 1950's and 1960's, Orangeburg drain lines are of utmost concern. This type of pipe was used due to WWII and the demand for metals and is essentially rolled cardboard dipped in pitch tar and has a useful life of around 50 years or less. Any issues uncovered will be photographed and delivered in report format with distances from the point entered marked as well.
